Urban Regeneration: Building Sustainable Societies

  • Social Impact Lab Japan 〒 104-0061 Ginza SS 85 building, 9F, 5-chōme-3-13 Ginza, Chuo City, Tokyo Japan (map)

Did you know that by 2045, 94 percent of all Japanese local governments are expected to see a decrease in residential population? 😳

According to NHK, The National Institute of Population and Social Security Research revealed that nearly all cities are expected to decline in size, except select urban areas like Tokyo, Aichi, and Fukuoka Prefecture in the next few decades.

Urban regeneration is the first step towards creating a sustainable society amidst such trends. We urge everyone to think about how we can better build our cities, plan sustainable development, and revitalize the regions that are left behind.

Join us on Thursday, December 21st, from 18:00 to 20:30 at Social Impact Lab Japan for an engaging evening to discuss Urban Regeneration: Building Sustainable Societies, and see how we can tackle the problems that the communities face 🌆✨
